The African Beach Guest House is situated in the heart of a Gambian community enabling you to experience the real Africa. This large, detached house includes master/family rooms with en-suite facilities. We have 2 large sitting rooms, one offering sea views and one with a TV, along with a kitchen / dining area for the use of our guests. Alternatively, relax on one of the balconies and watch African village life - the colourful women with babies on their backs; the cattle herds returning from the beach and the breathtaking sunsets.

The stunning location of the African Beach is a 5 minute stroll from one of the most exotic beaches in The Gambia, Bijilo, where there are beach bars and restaurants to cater for you. It is an eight minute drive to the tourist area of Senegambia where there are banks, shops, nightlife etc.

Our own experienced guides offer many trips and excursions; Banjul, the capital city; Roots the home of Kunta Kinteh; the crocodile pool; the colourful local markets; fishing villages.
